RECESS:
All students are expected to take their snacks outside for this short break regardless of weather conditions
Students are expected to dress appropriately for weather conditions prior to leaving the building
NOON HOUR:
Outside Days
All students are expected to take their snacks outside for this short break regardless of weather conditions
Students must remain in their classroom until the 12:20 bell at which time all students
are expected to go outside, dressed appropriately for the weather
Inside Days
On ‘extreme weather’ days an announcement may be made permitting students to remain indoors during the lunch hour. Inherent in this privilege is the understanding that students will maintain a calm and safe environment indoors. Should their behaviour indicate otherwise, students will be asked to go outdoors to the undercover area.
Should students elect to remain inside on these special days, they need to remain in their own classroom for the duration of the noon hour. Students are not permitted to wander from once location to another throughout the school.
